Jersey City, NJ - 1950's ALF.

Assigned to Truck 9, it's a 1964 ALF 900 Series 100' TDA. Wrecked in 1973, the cab was replaced with a 1961 cab from a pumper, x-E-6. In 1978, the ladder was struck by a train while operating at a small fire on an elevated section of a railroad bridge. One FF was thrown from the aerial and killed. The rig received a new stick and served T-9 until replaced by a 1983 Seagrave 100' rearmount.

1967 ALF 900 Series Aero Chief 90. Assigned to Truck 6 from 1967 to 1984. Known as the "The E.P." (Elevating Platform) to Jersey City Firefighters, it was damaged in 1970 when it tipped over while operating at a fire. The metal cab roof was added in 1974. It tipped over again in 1977. It was frequently out of service after that, once for over a year, and was replaced by a Mack Aerialscope in 1984.
