Ebay was notified last night. I have gotten people thrown off before with a whole lot less to go on than I found with this case, but lately it seems that Ebay doesnt really give a shit as long as the revenue keeps coming in. He must have seen himself within the post because this morning out of the blue I got an email from his shillpartner asking why he couldnt bid on my auctions(because I blocked him and his buddy) because "he was starting a collection". pretty funny, since I've been selling the same material for a month and never heard from him before and he never bid on any of my auctions before...
See if you find this funny: past 30 days. bidder(the shill) bids on 77 different items. 80% are from 1 seller(the shill seller), which means he bid on about 62 items from that 1 seller, and apparently only won 4 of them. furthermore, feedback left for the shill buyer indicates that he cancelled 2 of them. so of 62 different items, the bidder only won 2? no way... On the 2 that were cancelled I have no doubt at all that the seller found the legit bidder's high bid point(or thought he did) and tried to boost him. It didnt work and the shill got stuck with it.
I've been doing Ebay for almost 11 years, almost since the beginning of it. I know all the tricks and BS. This is no coincidence.

No doubt about it. Rotten as all hell. In that case there are no excuses.
I got another one. A repeated offender who bids items through the roof to eliminate competition and then tries to back out, negotiate a lower price or just get pieces he wants. Often comes with a good bs or sob story too. He just did it again to someone on ebay. To me, if you cannabalize a nice antique you ruin it. This guy doesn't care, rips fronts off helmets that a guy wore his whole career and destroys a piece of history. Crossbronx had a run in with him too with a bounced check. Tough to believe you get that from a guy on the job, but they are out there.
