GVFD was formed in 1928, and used a temporary garage until the late 1930's, when this store was converted.This shot is from the early 1950's, appears to be a WWII vintage Chevy inside. In the early 1980's, this store became a liquor store, the sliding bay door (and ramp) was used for deliveries.
