KCFD Kansas City, Missouri Fire Department
KCFD has started a Ready Reserve Pumper program. As it was told to me they are Ready to be a Reserve. The only difference is the Ready Reserve Pumper have NO equipment the Reserve Pumpers only carry hose all other tools and appliance's must be moved from the out of service pumper. Basically if all five Reserve Pumpers are in service or for a Homeland-Natural Disaster these can be equipped at the Fire Academy and used.
