Fritz,

Did the Barracks still have a 1987 Pierce engine w/ open jump seats? They got it to replace the Amertek, but I haven't been down in quite a few years.

The Chevy / Grumman engine was donated a few months ago. The Pirsch ladder was the last Pirsch ladder made. The R-Model Mack rescue is soon to be replaced by a new rescue being built at Kenco. Supposed to be a very nice rig.

Just to show what Patrick had to work with setting this shot up.... you had a darn sign on one side and a cement pole on the other... we had to squeeze the shot between the two.... just shows what a good camera and lens can do.

I have no real information on this... I was coming home from work the other day and happened to see this sitting in the parking lot of a hotel in my area. There were a whole bunch of other blue vehicles with big dishs on them... appeared to be some kind of goverment thing. I have no idea.. so if anyone has any information on this piece please feel free to add it.

Tim,

Sorry.. I didn't see your message. They still have the deuce and a half but it was down being rewired from 24V to 12V so it was not up and running, it looks really good though.. for once I can say I was disappointed that I couldn't shoot a deuce and a half.
