Is the EKU Sutphen also used for campus fire protection or just for the program?

As far as I know, it's just used for the program. The City of Richmond has a station a couple hundred feet from the University training center.

Dave is correct. In addition to teaching fire science in the burn building, It is my understanding they do a lot of Firefighter I & II courses hence the need for a dedicated engine.
