Iron Eagle was Ladder 2 for most of its years in Trenton. The "extra" gold leaf was done by a member of Ladder 2 - Lyle Mushinski. He was a close friend of the Chief of the Shops and got it approved. When L2 got its new Simon Duplex/LTI, The rig was re-assigned to Ladder 3. In the early "2000's" TFD closed 2 Engines and one Ladder... Ladder 3. Some companies were moved around and now Engine 6 is in the old Ladder 3's Quarters.



I have seen this sitting up at the KME factory. It was part of a Trade-In from one of Trenton's orders.

here is Ladder 2 "IRON EAGLE" in Service a few years back...
