I believe your departments USA Class 750 pumper carried USA registration W-5089. It that is correct, the rig was not only built at the Motor Transport Shop at Holabird, but served at the Camp also. You can verify this information by finding pump serial number since the motor is missing. W-5089 would have carried pump # Northern 72BYH 112. If the serial number on the pump is different from this number let me know and I'll try to provide additional information for you.
Found this Ford/Ward Lafrance at the Thunder Ridge Ski Area in Patterson, NY Registration sticker says 1969 with a VIN of C85LUD98788, a plate on the pump panel said 1968. Obviously was a snapple advertisement, but it looks like it was originally red, and later repainted yellow. 1000gpm pump/500 gallons water(estimate). Inside the cab, on a sunvisor KEH-912 is written in marker. Google search comes back to Ulster County Emergency services. Does anyone have any ideas on who this previously served?
This relic is a 1972 American LaFrance. I belive it was a former Mauldin, Sc Engine. It had lettering of a BBQ place on the doors (now removed) It was part of a Halloween display.--hence the skulls in the dash board. This Guy went all out in his Yard, a real crashed airplane and a hearse beside a graveyard.

LMC Truck or National Parts Depot, If they don't have what you are looking for generaly they can steer you in a direction. Both have on-line catalogs and awesome customer service.
While I have no way to confirm it, I have a suspicion that there's much more history to this rig. Many years ago, there was a subscription fire department in East Ridge, TN. This small city is located south of Chattanooga, along the Georgia border, and is protected today by a municipal fire department. At the time of the closing of the subscription FD, in the mid-1990's, they were running four International/Darley pumpers of various years. I was never able to coax any of them outside for photos, so I have no evidence for comparison, but they had a couple that were Loadstars similar to this one. Upon closing down, the four rigs were sold to the Dallas Bay FD, located north of Chattanooga, and placed in substations. All have since been sold to other FD's. I photographed two 1950's rigs at South Pittsburg Mountain several years ago (there was no station, they were parked in front of the Chief's house!), and this International/Darley was not one of them, but shortly afterwards, I found that both rigs I shot had been replaced by something newer. I'll bet it was this rig and that it came to them from Dallas Bay. Thanks for the info Dave! The subscription FD, was it called East Ridge FD also? I know East Ridge still operates an FD with two stations today. We just happened upon this rig along the side of Highway 11E outside Rogersville on Saturday. As soon as we saw it, it immediately rang a bell as something I'd seen you post a while back, but I was just a little off. Didn't you shoot a truck at So. Pittsburg Mtn. that was from somewhere in Virginia, and was then sold back to wherever it was originally from up there?
We didn't really go prowling around this truck a whole lot, there were some people at a nearby business staring us down like convicts while we were taking the picture of it! We saw the hand-painted letters on the doors and figured it was probably original to South Pittsburg Mtn, TN.

Passing through Bedford Hills, NY I found this Ex-New Paltz, NY E\-One, marked E- 43-16, in the lot used to store apparatus for the Mutual-Aid Americas program. ([url="http://www.mutual-aid.org/"]http://www.mutual-aid.org/[/url]) I have no info on it. It has only been there less than a month as far as I know. In the background is Ex-Lyme, NH Ford, the Ex-Saltsburg,PA Ford is no longer on the lot, shown earlier in this thread.
