I see LVFD and CCFD have plenty of ambulances, how does it work with all of the private ambulance firms in the county? Whoever gets there first? Are the municipal ambos really staffing for the BRTs?

Usually AMR or Medic West, the two private companies here in the valley do the transports. A County rig will transport some of the time depending on what kind of call it is. The county and the private rigs are almost always dual dispatched to calls
