The Pirsch is for sale, I really, really want to buy this piece but I don't think I will be able to afford it... so I am offering to anyone on here as well. They want $2,000 for it to a private collector, it is a really nice piece and it will make a nice collectable for someone. They are at the point that they are either going to sell it or scrap it soon. I am still trying to raise the funds necessary but I don't know how much luck I am going to have. Send me a PM for contact information about this piece!!

It is being replaced by this piece:

I highly doubt this was new to Harrison Valley but I couldn't for the life of me find a Maxim serial number for this piece so Howie could give us the history.. so if anyone knows where this came from before Harrison Township.

Any idea why Kimberton is getting rid of that rigs already??

Did you look on the base of the officer's seat? That's usually where the numbers are, just like a Hahn.

See that is what I was thinking to, that was actually the first place I looked. There was no plate whatsoever, there was also no plate on the driver side except one proclaiming the cab or chassis was made by Ward LaFrance (probably the cab). There was also no tag on the pump panel so I didn't know where else to look so I just called it a lost cause and moved along.

Kimberton, located outside of Phoenixville. Upscale area, and they like to piss away money like crazy. Huge station, plenty of newer rigs, paid staffing during the day.

Just my observation!

Did they tell what the "M.F.G." on the front of the rig stands for? <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />

Interestingly enough, they didn't mention it... and I didn't think to ask. So what does it stand for??

The G-rated version is "Mighty Fine Gentlemen".

The real meaning has to do with the color Green!

I am going to stop posting pictures for right now, I am sure that EMS12 will continue posting the rest of the pictures in his topic. I wanted to stop with this piece because it is one of my favorite (if not my favorite) pieces out there that I have photographed... I love these Ford Cargo chassis when used in the fire service!!

The Braeview engine will be sold shortly to Bethel Township Fire Department in Indiana County. The Braeview tanker was sold to Allegheny Township Fire Company No. 1, Westmoreland County Station 99. Tanker 99 was donated to Bethel Township Fire Department.
