The Rheems1 Photo Collection
I would think that its going to be a Commercial Cab since the other rigs are all Commercial Cab.

While in the search for all of Pa trucks ( I know big task ) on line on another site, I was in contact with who I believe was the chief at 12 and he said it was going to be replaced but hadn't heard what type it was going to be. During that email he also said about the brush being replaced.

Hope you have enjoyed, as soon as Fayetteville gets thier new squad I will shoot them and can wipe out South Mountain, West End of Shippensburg, Mont Alto and the county air truck. Of course all corrections, comments and questions are welcome.

Rheems1, when is Fayetteville getting there new Seagrave Squad?

Besides Greencastle (New Squad) Mont Alto (New Tanker) Fannett Metal (New Engine) do you know of any other new Apparatus orders or talks of new apparatus for Franklin County?

Metal Township Co. 21 just got a "new" engine from Monroe and has the old 21-2 up for sale

Greencastle new squad can be seen here : http://www.rescuehose.com/new%20Squad%203.htm that thing looks great

And a piece of info for you rheems concerning ET-18 for St. Thomas it came from Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus but were it came from before then I have no idea.

Fritz,

Nice shots. A couple in their I could use. Get ahold of me this weekend, they are calling for nice weather in Shippensburg on Saturday. I'll be riding at 52, but maybe we can set something up at 53, and 15.

Pat, I don't think you should leave Mifflin County anymore, for the sake of all of the home/building owners there...!

Fritz, nice shots. I went through Cumberland County on Sunday (spur of the moment) after coming back from Fort Indiantown Gap. I managed 17 rigs (mostly East Pennsboro). I'd love to shoot Franklin County someday.

The Seagrave should be here in April, that is what I am hearing at work at least but you know how that works (plus I am sure that Fayetteville will be using a very fine toothed comb to go over the truck in final inspections).... but April looks to be pretty close to the center of the mark. Besides Greencastle (I am anxiously awaiting your new squad) and Mont Alto, I am hearing that Station 4 is trying to look into replacing Squad 41. Technically the truck is up for replacement (since it is older), but the Squad has surpassed the truck's mileage (You know the Station 4 motto "Mountain to Mountain" LOL). The big obstacle is the budget, I don't think the Franklin's are in a financial position this year for a new piece...if they do buy a new piece expect it to be a Pierce. Blue Ridge Summit is looking heavily at replacing Engine 4-2, once again it will not be much of a surprise if it turns out to be a Pierce as well. There isn't anything else that I know of coming up, I keep hoping we get a new ET at 2 but there isn't any talks of it that I have been hearing.

LOL), plus it will be nice to get to meet you finally. I agree with you about Shoop, every time he goes away Lewistown burns something down LOL.

St. Thomas engine tanker

On the Brindlee website, it looks like Bainbridge Township on the door. I checked out their website and they

have a picture of a 1991 Pierce eng-tanker. Bainbridge Twp. FD is located in Chagrin Falls, OH.

Shafton... the list goes on and on!). Give me a day or two notice so I can get everything set up, God knows we are so busy here in the communications center LOL J/K.

Fritz, I sure will, thanks for the offer. Same to you, give me a few days notice. All of those should be no problem (except for maybe on of them).

I hope you don't mind if I post a few from last Sunday, I had a pretty successful (lucky) day. The full rundown is on Central PA Fire.

This truck was lettered for Allentown. The driver said they bought it off of a private owner, so I don't know if the "Allentown" stickers are accurate.

Please Bill, feel free to post whatever you shot.. I love seeing pictures on here!! The story on the Scope at Midway.... they bought it from a guy named Ken Boughter (KLBMack on the board) from Mastersonville, Pa. He bought it from the Allentown Fire Department where it ran for many years, he got a very good deal on it (and got an even better deal selling it). They still have the KME tower but they say there are a number of places that they can't get into with it so they bought this old girl. Love the picture of the KME from Fort Indiantown Gap, I haven't been back over there for awhile.. looks like I need to make the trip (still need the 6 wheel drive International brush truck as well). Good looking pictures!! Which station do you think would be a problem?? Let me guess..
