North Las Vegas Fire Department Engine 55 runs this 2005 Pierce 1500/750 Pumper

Can some one explain the white over grey that North Las Vegas used. What was the reasoning? It was very different.

Thanks in advance, Rick

Very sweet picture I have not seen this rig out what Station is it out of I might just drop buy and see if I can get a few pictures

It used to be at 24's on Industrial. near Warm Springs, I'm not sure if it is still there after the department discontinued the Haz Mat Team
Reply
Did they reassign the hazmat team's rigs?
Reply
I'm pretty sure that the apparatus is still in their perspective stations, just unmanned. They dispanded the Heavy Rescue and the Haz Mat Team a while back.
Reply
I will have to run down there and check it out. They were disbanded due to budget concerns.
Reply
The Water Tender has been at 19 for years so it was near the airport...I can only assume it is still there.
Reply
I presume the economy cause the disbanding of the rescue and haz mat companies...crying shame. Are the in-house companies assigned to staff it or how does that work?

Thanks in advance.
