Virginia apparatus - miscellaneous
Not sure. I've been to fires in the last year where every rig was one of these (frontline rigs OOS). Always loved 'em.

With FXCO putting in service 4 Pierce Pumpers soon and some Pierce Dashes going to reserve fleet how many of the Eone Cyclones will remain besides the raised roof ones?
Not many, most of the E-Ones have the raised roof.
Drive it like you stole it!

How close is the garage to the McConnell building?
Less than a 1/4 of a mile north of the McConnell Building on West Ox. Turn left at the very next light (towards the county trash dump), pass the huge garage (mostly school buses) on your right, then make the next right. Once you turn it's right there on the left. Hope that helps.

Never was a fan of the raised roof EOne's. The earlier Cyclone's were short and tight, but they are definitely getting aged. The '05 Dash's will always be my favorites (apart from the old Seagraves). Same as Dale City's Dash's from around that time.

That it does, I'll have to take a peak the next time I'm there. Thank you.

Larger sized images (which I finally figured out how to do) from my stop at Fort Belvoir FS64 a while back. Great crew there.
