I believe this was a one-off version of the Air Force P-8.

The International 4900 replaced the smaller S series in the late 1980's.  Due to the coming requirements for fully enclosed cabs, most of these were sedan cabs or left as three-man cabs.

Current offerings from International include the popular 4400 series and the larger 7400/7600 series, which are most often seen as standard cabs or four door cabs.  Precision Fire Apparatus built a crew box into the body on this rig.

International offered the CO-1950, also known as the Cargostar, as competition to Ford's C Series.  While not as popular as the C, it was still used by many builders.

The International Loadstar was popular in the 1960's and 1970's.  This former utility service truck was converted to a Haz-Mat Response rig.

Ford introduced the Cargo series as a replacement for the C series, but it was never popular.

Although the Ford F Series was a common commercial chassis for fire apparatus, a canopy cab version was not common.

The American LaFrance Commercial Truck Chassis was designed for heavy truck duty, such as refuse packers, but a few made it into the Fire Service.  This one was the only one built with a canopy cab.
