Fassy's Photos
Quote:Why are they selling it?

They went from a 75' quint to this unit. I guess they feel it's too big. Plus, there is a 93' tower to their North, a 100' stick to their Northeast, a 95' tower to their South and a 100' stick to their Northwest. All these ladders border their first due. From what I understand, there was also some issues with the way it was purchased which has the membership upset about having it. Plus, there's some discussion on if they even need to be in the truck business in the first place. It's a very nice truck. It will make someone a great rig.

that's a good question, no one knows and no one at the station is talking.

That's a shame. Sounds like they should get out of the truck business with all of those other trucks around. Awesome truck and great pics as always.

I re-shot these next two rigs since the county went through a re-numbering project. Earlier in my thread these units were lettered as Engine 3-11 and Air 3-11. It's now Engine 61-1 and Air 61. Engine 61 is soon to be replaced as their new pumper is nearing completion at Pierce

I snapped a couple of photos with my cell phone yesterday at the Lancaster County Firemen's Convention. This was my favorite piece in the lot by far.

Gibraltar, PA (Berks County?) runs this yellow Jeep brush unit with a full aero-dynic light bar.

Additionally, Glenn Usdin's CF Mack from Westbury, NY was present. I am told this was the last CF Mack ever built. It's in great shape!

Quote:Good People,

It was cloudy today which I realize is not ideal for fire apparatus photography. Being that most of my photos were dark because of the polarizer and clouds, I tried to edit them a bit to bring the brightness up and colors more vibrant. Does anyone see anything that could be improved with these photos? I'm using just the basic google photo editor and the basic (free) version of Adobe Lightroom.

Thanks in advance!
They are great looking to me also.
