I've seen a a lot of them. We have one at work.
So its permanently mounted to the end of the bottom fly? Is there a fear of it not being in one position and flying off?

My immediate first thought on this rig was that it looks like the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree of Fire Engines. Poor thing.

Sorry, we might just be mixing up terminology. The monitor is permanently mounted at the top of the 3rd (of four) flys.

What's up with the lightbars on these new engines? I can't tell from the resolution on this photo.

Agreed, any idea on why they changed?

The black pump panel looks sharp, how are the RK-Rosenbaur ladders preforming on the new tillers?

Thanks in advance,

I know we had a few issues with some of the whelens getting moisture behind them but whelen was fixing it so I wish I coukd give a definitive answer as to why. it may be they were low bid.

as for the trucks time will tell some like it and some don't. lot of the guys were big fans of their seagraves they had so this is a big switch for them.

So its essentially always in rescue mode?

Correct. It is never at 110', I believe its around 85' max. I don't spend too much time near that truck though.
