Better check your facts on that one. Atlantic is independent.

Read pages 123 & 124 of the Oshkosh Annual Financial Report, or click the link and search for "Atlantic" in the search box. Not trying be a smart aleck, just showing you where my information came from.

If you have updated information, I don't mind being corrected at all.

If you look at the 2011 annual report there is no mention of Atlantic

Oshkosh owned Atlantic for a short time as they took the territory over from Singer, it was then sold to the current owner. not trying to be a smart aleck either, I just feel your info is outdated relating to that dealership. The Pierce dealerships are independent.

The next Striker is going to National. Oshkosh had that a while back on their Faceboo site when MWAA was there for the preconstruct conference.

E301B, nearly identical to the units delivered to E303 and E301. E301B has no foam system, no preconnected hurst equipment (portable simo pumps only), smaller generator, LED light tower which was relocated to above the pump panel, LED flood/scene lighting, and LED rotoray, LED tank level lights on the cab, the new departmental logo, and red chevrons instead of white on the other two pumpers. The unit is nearly inservice, should be by the end of the month.

Thanks Chris for the shots. Should be in service when I am in town in July. The next Striker is coming your way when it is completed, that is good news.At least that is what I heard from Oshkosh.

Surprise, surprise, went in service two days ago! Currently being run as first out. The new global striker will be replacing Foam 337, which will then be sent out to IAD to replace 336

The global striker currently being built (to be done March/April??) will go to DCA. Foam 337 will then go from DCA and be sent to IAD to replace a unit out there at Dulles.

This year, the department was approved to replace one foam unit and one medic unit, the medic unit will go to DCA, and the foam unit will likely go to IAD.

Looks like a very nice rig. My lack of enthusiasm for the new look Striker cracked a bit when I see Foam 345.
