This is one of many FMC Roughneck's in Wilkes County as well. Not the most exciting type of trucks to look at, but they get the job done for these folks!
Yes I did Shoop! I'll skip ahead to post the photo of the truck I emailed you about. The guys at Station 1 weren't even aware they had this truck, so we drove over to Station 2 and luckily there it was! Nobody was around, but at least we got a pic of it. Oh, and the big WLF/New Lexington engine was on loan to Stanley Valley VFD because they wrecked one of their engines, so we didn't get it...

No, It is a standard WLF engine. It started in West Ridge, PA. up in Erie County. It was sold to Junction Fire Co. in Mifflin County, PA. Junction sent it to New Lexington for a refurb, which included enclosed jump seats and a raised roof. It also got their paint scheme of White w/ Gold stripe. Junction sold it to Mifflin Fire Co. in Juniata County, PA. They ran it for a number of years, before repainting it to red w/ white stripe. About a year or two ago, Mifflin got a Pierce and donated it to Bulls Gap. It is definetely a different looking rig, but it looked a lot better in white.

Andrew,
Thanks for posting old "Rescue 6" from Hahntown. For many years, Hahntown and North Huntingdon EMS had the only rescue trucks in North Huntingdon Township. It ran the whole township, plus backup for Irwin, plus into Sewickley Township. Now that Circleville, Strawpump, and Hartford Heights are running rescue engines, and Larimer has tools on the Attack, it really cut down on Hahntowns rescue calls. Therefore, their new rig will be an engine (Seagrave I have heard) which will probably have tools on it. NHT EMS does still have their rescue, too.

The next stop of the Wilkes County trip was Wilkesboro, NC. There was only one FF here and he was busy getting the trucks ready for the parade that night. So, as much as I wanted posed pics, I settled for the way he was willing to pull them out.
I shot this truck at the station, however its positioning in the parade route later in the evening was a much better shot! Here's the better of the two shots...
And sitting out back, recently replaced by the new 2209 was this truck. I can't remember if they said it was going to be sold, used by another Wilkesboro town agency, or if they were going to use it as an FD utility/support truck.
