I seen this truck at the Newark DE muster, still looks great! Unknown photographer
What Newark muster? Do you mean the Cumberland Valley parade several weeks ago?

I've seen this rig responding with a full rear step. It's great to be old and not to have missed such things. Thanks for putting those up.

According to their website, it is not longer on the roster. Anybody knows the whereabouts of this beauty ?
Virginia McLaughlin photo / Kiefer collection
When I was down in Thurmont in early July, the cab was sitting in a private residence not far from the main drag near the train tracks. I can't think of the name of the street right now, but it led you to the feed mill and the back of the fairgrounds. Quote:Capitol Heights MD 1952 ALF 700 There was a 700 sitting behind their station a couple years ago when I was there. Could this be the one?

That is the cab from the 1985 Hahn 1000/1500 that was glider kitted by Pierce in 1999 with a Arrow cab and new body. It was a canopy cab, the 1988 Hahn/Saulsbury had a 2-door cab with no canopy; note difference in pics. 85 Hahn pic from Co.10 website (which is pretty good) 88 Hahn pic by me 10/06 just before it left town for points unknown. The 85's cab sat for years on the former site of the Pierce dealer in Williamsport,MD., before being "rescued" and brought back to Thurmont.
