With the busy streets of SF, its easier for us to have roll ups and not have to worry about clearance issues with moving and closely park civilian vehicles.

I had heard the SFFD had some old rigs hidden away. What a great collection! Thanks for posting the warehouse. Any more photos from there? I wonder if that Turbo Chief 900 still has it's turbine... I recognize the Mack hose wagon but not the ALF 500/600(?) next to it.

I thought that I had read an article years ago that the turbine was removed and another engine was installed. Not 100 % sure. I see it has the stack for the turbine still. 

 

I hope that warehouse has alarm system and sprinklers.
