This was by far, the best find of the day!! The Chief kept talking about some guy coming through town years ago and taking pictures of this truck. "This guy" told the Chief that there were only about a dozen or so of these Dodge trucks ever built, and only about a half-dozen or less still exist! We didn't tell him that we knew "this guy" as our very own Dave Organ, haha.

This truck runs like a charm, the FF at RFD Station 2 just didn't wanna pull it out that day.

We then shot the trucks from Lakeview, TN which I've already posted. If Micah wants to post them, the pics this time were much better than mine were last time. These pics are from a Firefighter's Competition in Kingsport, TN at the Holston Army Ammo Plant. Weather was awful, but we shot anyhow.

We then ventured over to Rogersville, TN where we found the bay doors open. The FD and the PD are in the same building. The PD dispatcher that day just happened to the the Chief of Rogersville FD! He couldn't venture far away from the phones and radios, but he did pull the trucks out on the pad for us. Maybe another day we can get them posed! Visiting the next FD was one of the most....hmm...interesting experiences I've ever had at a fire department. We pulled up, asked them to pull the trucks out and they agreed to pull them straight out of the bays, which I was okay with. After Micah and I shot the last truck, they backed it in their building and Micah and I went to shoot a truck sitting out back that you'll see in a few posts. When we turned around, all the bay doors were closed and there was nobody to be found. All 10 or so firefighters that were there had disappeared. We figure they all left in someone's POV and the FD support truck, but we weren't sure. Strange...

The FF's closed up the bays before we had a chance to get specs off a couple of the trucks. Maybe someone here can help?

This is the rig that was sitting outside that distracted Micah and I while all the FF's closed up the house and left us stranded.

This is what's left of the old 1802 from Mt Carmel... <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> My records say that this rig was for sale on GovDeals in 2007, but it looks like the Public Works for Mount Carmel took the truck.

Last weekend, I had to make a trip to Davie County, NC to take a class for work. After class was over each night, I had about 2 hours to shoot trucks and quite a drive between some of the stations. I wasn't able to get any posed shots, but I took what I could.
