Ocean City Eng 712 was a 1974 Ford C950/Ward LaFrance 1000/500.

Joe,
This is what I have on this rig. To my knowledge, they never had a Ward LaFrance in the fleet.

1967 Ford C950/American, full cab, 1000/800, started out as Engine 12, was repainted & refurbed sometime, was also converted to the airport crash rig – Engine 47 in 1991. Sold in 1999 to the Fairmont VFD (Somerset County, MD), by 2006, sitting behind the station rotting away.

Ocean City also once owned this 1964 International/American/Columbian which ran as Tnk 720. I have no info on GPM or tank size.

Bruce
1964 International Loadstar 1800/ , purchased a used fuel oil delivery truck in 1974 from a company in Jessup, MD, tandem axle, painted elliptical tank, used as a tanker. The tank was removed and replaced with a 2650 gallon tank and a front mount 750 GPM pump was installed. The tank & pump were removed from the chassis in 1997 and mounted on the 1990 International S2200 chassis (ex. Rescue 7). Tank Wagon 1 – later Tanker 20
Thanks Bruce for the corrections. I see the American emblem now on the pump panel of 712. And frankly, I have no idea where I got the info on any of these units 20+ years ago when these pics were taken. Hell, I don't remember stuff from two weeks ago much less 20-25 years ago! Again thanks for the info.
