The Bandon VFD operates three of these 2005 ex-USAR AM General Hummer as brush-trucks. Equipped with a Wajax-Pacific 250/250 unit.

Engine 5 in Bandon is one of three 1989 Ford LN 9000 with bodywork from Western States, 1000 gpm/1000 gwt.

Engine 2 in Bandon is one of two 1992 Spartan Charger with bodywork from Western States, 1500 gpm intracab-pump, 1000 gwt.

This brush-tender is a 1987 AM General 6x6, that is equipped with a 250 gpm-pump and 1200 gallons of water. Ex-USAR.

Another water-tender in Bandon is this 1973 White Western Star with bodywork by Western States from 1984. 1250 gpm pump, 4000 gwt.

Tender 3221 in Newport/Oregon is a 2010 International 7400 with bodywork from H&W, 1000 gpm/ 3000 water.

Finally for today, the Beach Rescue in Newport operates this 2010 AM General Hummer with bodywork from the Oregon Department of Forestry shops.

I visited the North Lincoln FD in Lincoln City / OR for a photo of their Bronto. Unfortunately there was no driver for the Bronto available. So I photographed only their Surf Rescue. It is a 2005 Ford F 350 4x4 with locally done bodywork.

The Chief of the Rockaway Beach VFD / OR likes large commercial chassis trucks. Engine 2113 is a 2002 Peterbilt 379 with E\-One bodywork. It is equipped with a 2000 gpm-pump and a 1000 gallon-tank.

Water Tender 2112 in Rockaway Beach is a 1993 Peterbilt 379 with bodywork from J.C.Moore, an unusual manufacturer at the Pacific coast. It has a 1250 gpm pump and carries 2500 gallons of water.

Rescue 2195 in Rockaway Beach is this 2006 Chevy C 3500 4x4 with Reading body.

My target in Gearhart / OR was this Unimog. Brush 2972 is a 2005 MB Unimog U 500 4x4 with bodywork from ProTech/National. It is equipped with a 300 gpm-pump and a 800 gwt.

Finally, after almost three weeks of traveling the Northwest, we came back from where we started, Chehalis/WA. On the last two days I did some local buffing.

Engine 610 from the Lewis County # 6 in Chehalis is this 2008 Peterbilt 340 with bodywork from Hub (Canada). It has a 1250 gpm-pump and a 1000 gwt. It is one of two.

Tender 61 from the Lewis County # 6 in Chehalis is a 2005 Peterbilt 335 4x4 with bodywork from SEMO. 500 gpm/ 2000 gwt.

The Lewis County # 5 in Napavine has this Water Tender in service. It is a 2008 International 7600 with Rosenbauer bodywork, 1500 gpm/2500 gwt.

Later in the morning the fog disappeared and so I decided to drive to the Pacific coast again. I contacted the Long Beach FD/WA in advance, as they are operating a very unusual truck.

Engine 11 is a 1995 AG-Truck/Challenger 4x4 articulated tractor, that was a farm-tractor before. It is equipped with a 500 gpm hydrostatic pump and a 1600 gallon-tank. This go-anywhere truck is mainly used for brush-fires.
