This is the previous home of the Fleetwing Hook and Ladder Co. They are the truck company of the LFD. The station is now a business and private residence. The Fleetwing is one of the companies that has moved in to the Union's station.
Station 17-4, Columbia. Engine 4 and the Air and Light truck moved to Union's station in January 2014. I've been told by one of their Past Chiefs that an offer has been made to purchase the station. Sounds like the end for another classic fire station is near.
Station 17-4 Columbia. There was a minor fire involving the roof and upper front of this station near the coping.
Station 17-1's original fire station. This station had a major fire which resulted in their engine falling into the basement during a collapse. It is now used as a business.
This is an unusual looking monument in front of station 17-1. It is constructed using various pieces of an engine.
Station 18. Lebanon Fire Co. The brick portion is the original fire station which also shared the building with a general store. The store would have been accessed through the small door to the left of the bay door.
The remainder of the station does not face the street. This section was built in various stages by the members of the company.
Station 19-1 Lebanon Township Fire Department. The ambulance is from the Clinton First Aid and Rescue Squad. A crew staffs the rig during daytime hours to assist with providing EMS services for the Twp.
