This next engine is a bit of a rare bird, in that I was told it was one of only 3 Simon Duplex rear engined chassis ever produced. Engine 5, shop # 7044 is a 1993 Anderson Simon Duplex engine with 1500/500 specs. I have never run across another. Anyone have a photo of any other rear engined Simon Duplex engine?

Found another old relic from Delta B.C. in my pile of photos so I thought I would post it along with a few more photos of their current in service apparatus. At one time R-405 was a 1958 Carter Ford F350 with a little 85 gpm pump and 100 gwt. This little rescue is about half the size of a F 550 mini pump, never mind a full sized engine.
