I was told ex Charlotte, North Carolina.
Quote:I was told ex Charlotte, North Carolina. If you're referring to the Conway truck I can tell you it is not from Charlotte. Charlotte hasn't ran any Pierce ladders since the late 1980s. They had Spartan/LTi or Spartan/AI ladders in the 90s and the current fleet is exclusively Spartan/Smeal 105' sticks.

They had one of the 1989 Pierce Lance 105' rear mount ladders from Charlotte at one time, however I believe they got rid of it in the last year.
Quote: If its a 105, it may have been. One was sold to a department in NC. Get the job number and I'll check it.

I think the '89 truck Conway had is now in Johnsonville, SC.
I'm pretty sure this was purchased through Brindlee Mountain. If I get back over there I'll get the number. Their old truck did go to Johnsonville SC.
Ocracoke VFD is getting a new station. It is located right on HWY-12 just as you enter town from the north. They hope to move in by the end of the year. Also, they recieved a "new" squrt that should be in service soon. It came from Atlantic Beach, N.C. I believe it is a KME but it was at a dealer getting some work done it so it was not on the island.
