Interesting find in Kansas. Superior build Label with E\-One name plates with tank built by Hamms. I remember Superior was the Canada E\-One label and I also remember these being sold through the American Eagle Series and Tradition Series.

Today the State of Kansas can celebrate with the return of a Tractor Drawn Aerial. For more than thirty years the state of Kansas has been without a TDA. The Kansas City suburb of Lenexa took delivery of this beauty. As most of you know I believe in Dry Trucks however this one is very nicely designed with all pumper company functions contained in the Tractor. The trailer is completely dry and holds 600ft of LDH on the officers side in a single enclosed hose trough. This would allow for easy conversion to a dry truck!!! Sorry for the indoor shot but they have not taken possession yet and could not move it out doors.

Hose Bed 600ft of LDH. Neat thing if it was ever retractored dry they could easily convert this space to compartments.

[sup]The Lenexa Truck is Beautiful. Looks like it is well thought out. Anyone have any word on the KC/MO E\-One tillers going out for Refurb/Retractoring? I thought I had read an earlier post reguarding them being sent to Pierce for the work[/sup]

No there was a Quntaum Tiller PUC that was in production when we were there in Sept of 2011. At dinner our dealer talked with us and them about how they used there spec for the Lenexa TDA-PUC. He said the only difference was the Tractor cab choice.

The KCFD TDA's will not be refurbed now due to budget money. The plan had been placed on hold during the budget meeting earlier in the summer. They told me yesterday at Conrad the plan was placed on permanent hold now.

Anytime Rick.. I am planning a trip out to that area next year as of right now. My Brother has recently developed a interest in apparatus photography so I plan on dragging him around Oceanside with me giving him pointers <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />
