On my way to the Apple Blossom parade I found my catch of the day.The South Berkeley Fire Co. of Inwood,Wv took delivery of this 2009 Pierce Arrow XT 1500fpm 2000gal 20A 40B earlier in the day and they were still looking like kids with a new toy in the afternoon when I visited their station. I agree and I can't wait to see the new Pierce engine tanker!

Terry
they are still keeping it it's going to be moved to their substation on rt 924. also their new aerialscope is due to arrive in a few days.
Nice shots. You must have gone by Interstate around the same time I did. Most of the rigs sitting there are the same. I am going to guess that Paxtonia, and Hazle Twp. will both be at the Harrisburg Expo in a couple weeks. I just hope the weather cooperates on Thursday.
If I remember correctly both of those as well as the Exeter Twp. rescue that was inside are suppose to be there. The Hazle Twp. Aerialscope might be cutting it close but they are at least planning on it being there.

Is it just me or does the Leesburg Seagrave tiller always seem to be at a dealership or atleast never in service in their station?
They have had issues with it as I know I have seen it at the dealer or another repair facility several times but I thought most of it was over after it went in service.

I saw this rig when I was out at Pierce a couple weeks ago. I love the color and it is a very nicely designed piece of apparatus.
