According to the Captain that set me up, he did loads of research after the rig was delivered to discover that it was in fact the first one manufactured.

Listed as manufactured in 1995. My car is a 2005 model year, manufactured in 2004. Maybe the same applies to fire engines.
It feels like Winter is on the way! Today was absolutely gorgeous in South Florida, with the high's in the mid 80's and clear skies I headed down to Dade County. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/BananaMan.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Excellent shot Alex!! Gotta fill me in though. I thought Engine 15 was closed down??
Thanks, Shoop and correct, originally the E15 was disbanded due to budget cuts, however after weeks of review and negotiations with the county, the residents of Key Biscayne and of course the union E15 was placed back in service.

Alex, what is the deal with these rescues in miami dade are they rescue companies or a rescue ambulance
Res4cue, These are a monster type "rescue ambulance" transport unit with a fair amount of firefighting tools, nothing more.
Usually this rig is assigned to Truck-1, it was moved south to Station-3 for a upcoming drivers course.
