Quote:Cool pics man...that support unit though...odd for sure. Sent from my SM-N915V using Tapatalk Ya, it was an odd looking unit. Was bought just prior to the FD being annexed into the LACoFD. That happened in '98-'99.

Sent from my SM-N915V using TapatalkYes it was assigned as MAU (Mobile Air Unit) 129 up in Palmdale. Quote:Did LA County ever utilize it? Sent from my SM-N915V using TapatalkUnknown what its status is now. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays to all! Former Lynwood FD Engine 32 After Lynwood contracted LACoFD for fire protection about 15 years ago, the County did not take this in the deal, and Lynwood sold it to neighboring Compton as a reserve. Former Lynwood FD Engine 31 This rig was retained by the LACoFD and was assigned to former FS 32 as LACoFD Engine 148. Former Lynwood station 31 renumbered to LACoFD FS 147 and LFD FS 32 became LACoFD 148. Lynwood's Truck Company had an elderly Crown Snorkle and was given to Compton FD for their Training Academy My Collection Photos by Robert Navarro
I can't believe they weren't fond of the Tower ladder, those Mack aerialscopes were icons and very reliable. They are still sought after today. I believe that scope is serving Lima Fire Department in PA

How Many Mack CF's did Arcadia run?
Quote:How Many Mack CF's did Arcadia run?As of circa 1994, Arcadia's roster was as follows, E31 1990 Mack/LTI 1500/300/75' E32 1987 Mack CF 1500/500 E33 1991 Pierce Arrow 1500/500 T31 1979 Crown Snorkel 85' Reserve E34 1983 Mack 1500/500 Reserve E35 1981 ALF 1750/500 In 1999, Arcadia joined the Verdugo Fire Comm Center. Station renumbering was as follows Station 31 became Station 105 Station 32 became Station 106 Station 33 became Station 107. Reserve apparatus were assigned 700 series numbering. ie, Engine 705 would be the reserve engine at Station 105, Engine 707 would be out of Station 107. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the information
