We also had a 1967 Seagrave TDA that was an automatic. The 1971's were so powerful, the mechanic had a supply of axles in his shop. We would snap them off regularly.

Here is the widow maker as Truck 10 circa 1984. Note the paint scheme was changed since PGFD purchased the vehicle and was used as a reserve. Also note the headlights are horizontal. Photograph was taken at Laurel while they held the county convention.
