North Arlington, NJ had a Hahn 100ft LTI rear-mount ladder....it was replaced a few years ago with a KME rear-mount

Don't forget some of these rigs are LTI orders with a Hahn chassis.

Also there are a few Hahn chassis LTI and Hahn bodies built for LTI not listed.

That's a fire department that protects a number of "the real millionaires of New Jersey" like the Forbes family. Forbes Media was headquartered there for quite awhile, maybe still is, and when it was hit by a fire requiring a good mutual aid response, one time Presidential candidate Steve Forbes invited all of the members of every unit responding to a big thank you party that some say must have cost a lot more than some people spend on weddings, probably at least $50,000 just for the food alone.

Taneytown's Engine 51 doesn't look bad but there won't be any tears shed when she leaves for the last time. She has been running good for the most part but the early years were terrible with breakdowns and the like and no warranty to back it up.

Look very close, at the Cab roof, and windows on the side.

This is a Pem Fab cab made to look like a Hahn.

A 1981 Hahn, with a refirbed Cab in 1991 because of an accident.

This truck was recently sold for $25K to a broker that shipped it off to Central/South America. It's been replaced by a Pierce Velocity 100' Tower.

We were hoping to get more, to recoup the cost of a new motor that was installed over a year ago, but since this was a municipal-owned truck, the township put it up for auction.

Although Forbes no longer has their newspaper headquarters here in Bedminster, the Forbes family continues to 'thank' the department every year, inviting chosen members and the officers of the department, on a dinner cruise aboard the yacht 'Highlander'.

Dave,

Thank you for posting these. I've been wanting to see pictures of the Hahns at Newton-Abbott. I believe

they were not there very long as I was told they were sold to fire companies in the Lebanon, PA area. I

know the Wise Avenue E271/Newton-Abbott E1 went to Avon, PA. Not sure where the old E272 wound up.
