Ward LaFrance Ultravision
Conover,NC once ran this 1971/1991 refurb WLF Ambasador 1000/1000 as 15-E4, although Conover recently got two new Pierce Enforcers so they may no longer have this rig. This used to serve St. Timothy's VFD before Conover took over the St. Timothy's fire district when they went bankrupt. I do not have the spec #, so if anyone has it please fill me in.

Darn, yesterday was the first time I'd ever uploaded more than one photo in a post. I just figured out how to do it. Now I notice that there's a post saying not to do it. Oh well. Sorry Ed. Mark

I would guess this started out as one of the engines the Commish posted. San Francisco FD, hose tender it was loaded down with 5" hose and portable hydrants for use if an earthquake or other disaster takes out the water system.
