Just read Newark ordered three Engine's from Ferrara. Two will be standard Engine's. One will be a Foam Engine. They will be on the custom Ember Chassis.

Supposedly the Goodwill Fire Company of Washington Boro (Lancaster County, PA) sold the following tanker to a New Jersey fire company, but nobody can tell me where it went. Does it sound familiar to anyone ?

1989 Ford LST9000/4-Guys, full cab, 1000/4000, front-mount pump, stainless steel elliptical tandem axle tanker, Cummins diesel, 350 HP, Fuller 10-spd manual transmission, cost $135,000, replaced in early 2009, not sold until 07/2010 to a fire company in NJ.

We have a whole bunch of tankers in Hunterdon County, old and new, but not this one. Hopefully that narrows the search...

Was down in Riverton for the 4th of July parade this year.....was hangin' out at 241 after the parade and saw these guys..........Can't believe they're still wearing the white pants/green shirt combo Class A uniform....

That actually sounds like a nice uniform, having said that my fiance has told me for monthes that I have bad taste... so maybe she is right??

Its for driving into high water. A snorkle like device for the air intake for the engine. There were 3 or more engines (ONLY) that have this. It was Newarks answer to people stuck in HIGH WATER CONDITIONS.

That sounds like a parade uniform to me. At least that's the way it used to be.

Anesti, I volunteer in Fair Lawn for the FD.. Let me know if you (or any board members) wanna do the FD apparatus at all. Feel free to send a PM. Im still annoyed that I missed the Rochelle Park job!!!!

thanx for the opportunity and ill let you know by Friday. If anything what would be a good day?? ochelle park sounded good on the metro fire channel but not much was visible. Alot of mutual aid due to the heat.
