Great shots Pat! Some pretty wild color schemes going on! The orange Jefferson rigs made my eyes hurt though! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />

Yep, that thing is a Javelin... looks even better in person. We all found out that a digital camera can't handle teal very well, the Nemacolin pieces are a light teal color where it is blue in these pics (including the wheels)... same goes for the Greensboro stuff... it looks Port Vue blue but they are in fact a wonderful dark teal color but the digital camera's are not able to handle teal for some reason. These would be good to shoot with a film camera for the real color on them!!!

Here is one of Greensboro's Macks, from Charmichael's parade a few years ago.

Warren,

Was hoping you were going to join us for the jaunt. I still got a ton of photos here for ya. The Seagrave is privately owned by a member, is what I'm told anyways.
Reply
the Seagrave was bought at the Pechins auction, and is in the warehouse in Circleville.

Guess my source wasn't correct. Thanks

Doc, that was Penn No. 7 it came from. The dog tugging the hose at the jump seat was their mascot.

The front cab design on Engine 281 reminds me of the cab design from the late 90's FDNY Rescues (that were destroyed on 9/11).

Keep up the great stuff Pat!
