Yeah, the police have that ridiculous euro trash looking font on everything now.

Pawtucket used to have that font on their cruisers.....changed to a black and white scheme when Boston changed....the cars were identical except for the city name.

Sorry for the mixup, I knew the cops didn't use it anymore.

IIRC BPD dropped the font when the new commissioner, Ed Davis, formerly of Lowell PD took over and a "new look" was ushered in. Wish they'd go back. Like mentioned before, that "EuroTrash" font looks like crap. The previous lettering complimented the graphics scheme. Oh well, at least it's alive in a dozen or so towns around the state that decided to copy BPD's look to a "T".
That is 1 sweet looking engine. I didnot like KME as much before but since they brought in the newer styled 1`s the predator ,etc i like them even more.
Out of curiousity...which Boston companies catch the most fire? Not necessarily the most runs, but working fires.
Thanks in advance.

Larry try looking at Embas fir page. He has all the multiples listed and you can get some idea of where the blazes are. I thinking these days E 18-52 and Ladders 6 and 29. But Boston just does not burn like it used to. My folks up there say there just are not any ghettos anymore in Beantwon

My best guess would be Engines 16, 17, 18, 21, 24 & 52 and Ladders 6, 7, 16, 23 & 29. They are all located in and around Dorchester. Districts 7 & 8 are where the most work is.

Thanks. I was curious about that.
As we all know the most runs does not equate to the most fire duty...
