One thing I did catch though. The unit doesn't say Ladder 92 on it anywhere. Will that be added later?

Alex,

great looking trucks from Marathon. I visited the Marathon FD back in spring 1992. At this time I was not good in posing apparatus for photos. But anyway. I photographed these 2 apparatus, they are probably long gone now.

Juergen do you have any other 1990s or 1980s-era photos from South Florida? Always interested to see the historical ones <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Great photo of a sharp looking rig. One question - I notice the dive flag on the rear compartment....Does Sunrise staff various field units with rescue swimmers / scuba divers, or is this company part of a dedicated dive unit / station? I know having divers throughout the line is popular with some departments in Florida to reduce the time to get a diver in the water and to the patient...wondering how they set the rig up if this is the case. Thanks.

I dont have the entire answer, however Sta. 92 does have the dive unit so i'd have guess that it deals with that fact.
