Gotcha..Right down the street from my house!
Nice to see some south county action!
Lemay 1614 is a nice looking rig, but I think that it would look 100% better if it had goldleaf lettering and numbers instead of the black reflective stuff. I know Neil wanted to cut corners, but come on! And it could do without that giant LEMAY FIRE. PROT. DIST. billboard at the top sides of the cab! Just my two cents.
Got any pics of the flag detail? Sad to see the lack of participation the past 2 years.

Is that an old firehouse in the background?

Engine 32 and H&L 8 were organized when this station opened in 1892. In 1919, this station was turned into the FD repair shops. A new station was built in the rear of the shops at 503 N. 20th street to house E-32 and H&L 8 and remained open until 1971. The station you see in the photos was vacated by the FD in 1929 when the new repair shops opened at 12th and Spruce.

Kinloch Fire Protection District in north St. Louis County has placed this 2009 Spartan Metrostar/Rosenbauer Central 1250/1000 pumper in service.
This is the first new pumper in Kinloch since it purchased a Seagrave back in the mid-1970s. Needless to say, Kinloch is a very depressed area.
The driver on 4310 was great. Kinloch is the only district in St. Louis County that is primarily all-volunteer.
