Durham Truck 5 runs this 2002 Ford/Gowans-Knight Brush truck. Durham is in the process of switching colors from lime-yellow to all red. Gowans-Knight is a local manufacturer based in Watertown CT, specializing in pumpers, rescues, tankers and brush trucks.

Durham's Tanker (there is no number assigned) runs this 2008 Spartan/US Tanker 2500gallon unit. This truck replaced a 1988 Ford/S&S 1800gallon tanker that was sold to Deep River

Shelton Echo Hose, Hook and Ladder Company 1 runs this 1996 KME 2000gpm/95' rear-mount tower as Tower 7. The 1977 Maxim aerial in my previous post is it's stable mate.

The White Hills Fire Company 5 of Shelton runs this 2006 Ford/Gowans-Knight rescue as Truck 55.

Lebanon runs this former St. Louis 1987 Pierce Arrow 1500/500/50' tele-squrt as Ladder 106. Lebanon is an all volunteer department protecting 6,900 residents in a 55 square mile area from 1 station. Most of Lebanon is rural in nature with large tracts of land used for agricultural usage.

Lebanon also runs this monster 4-wheel drive 2006 International/Central States/Rosenbauer 2000/500 hose tender as Hose Tender 106. This truck carries 2,000' of LDH on a reel and an additional 1,000' of LDH which is flat-packed.

Finally, the host city of New London showcased their newest rig, a 2010 Spartan/Rosenbauer 1250/750 pumper assigned to Engine 11. New London is a fully career staffed department protecting 26,000 residents in a 6 square mile area, responding from 3 stations.

New London runs twin 2001 Ferrara Inferno 1250/750 pumpers as Engine 21 and 31. New London is home to the United States Coast Guard Academy.

Yes this Pierce was originally with St. Louis and Salem, CT purchased it aproximately 10 years ago to see how an aerial would work for them. Last year Salem purcahsed a new Ferrara 75' quint to replace it. Salem then sold the rig to Lebanon last year. Under teh jumpseat window Lebanon placed a scroll whihc says "The Spirit of St. Louis and Salem".
