The street it is on isn't too wide either, but thankfully it's also lightly trafficed so they could block it for a few minutes without causing a massive backup... Oh and never go by there on trash collection day(at least I hope it was that!)- it stinks to high heaven!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know but I wouldn't be surprised if they were used for second pieces to the Decon Unit and Ladder 15 or to house a reserve engine or ladder or is used by the fire fighters to park their own vehicles...

I see someone has been visiting lower Manhattan. I took almost the same pictures of Engine 6 and Engine 4's houses this past Monday. I also shot the quarters of Engine 7, Ladder 1, and Battalion 1 on Dunne Street.

I was down there doing the typical touristy things with stops at the nearby fire stations. After seeing your shot of Engine 7 I am kicking myself for not stopping by there for a picture(called it a day just two blocks from there) Excellant picture, simply an amazing shot!

eng 21 with ladder 2 in the little alleyway untill ladd 2 quaters is renovated
