Rear shot. I plan on changing out the strobes. The amber one doesnt even have anything inside it, its just a shell. Perhaps model 14 beacons or junior beacons if i can find them.

Side shot of the cab. The ox is the departments "mascot". They have annual ox roast dating back to who knows when. Their 1949 L model mack was nicknamed little ox, and the snorkel was nicknamed big ox.

This one is just a walk around of the truck with the lights on. As you can see the front red lights dont blink. And my amber strobe is just a strobe shell, no innards.

She purrs like the bulldog she is. I also like the cough during the walk around while near the exhaust pipe.

You finally got your CF!!! I remember way back in the day trying to talk sense into Lenny AKA Santa Claus to sell you that one from Elizabeth Borough, good to finally see that you got a CF. You had said that if you got that CF from Elizabeth I would get to drive it...does that offer still stand?? <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Hysterical' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Hysterical' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Hysterical' />

But--the booster line could be a little neater--how did you make out with the fuel gage--I talked with my mack man and he said the same as I did--the end gets stuck on the side of the tank--I can't make it this weekend--got to get new front tires--

Sure thing! I cleaned the cab pretty well today. I noticed that when arnold got the truck they got pretty serious about painting it their cream yellow color. Ever spot inside the cab and everywhere on the truck except underneath is yellow. Fletch i did not try the gas tank yet. I have to find some thing that will fit down inside. Where exactly is the float inside of the tank? Also im having a problem with bad shaking at 40 to 50 mph where the truck shakes badly. Not sure what it is.

May I suggest looking at the balancing of the individual tires. Had that condition with a mini-pumper once. A department member worked for a tire store. He took the vehicle to work and once they were balanced, problem went away.
