These guys bought this truck at auction... way overpriced for what they bought it for...and the current market.

Effective 9-12-2010 the LAFD will be closing 12 EMS Captain's, Squad 87 the fully staffed Haz Mat in the valley due to budget cuts is no longer staffed 24/7.
Reply
While the elimination of full time staffing for Haz Mat 87 still stands the Mayor's office has reversed it's decision to close 12 EMS District captain's.

Always hit the FD........strip fire and EMS protection and act like there is nothing wrong to do it.....amazing...keep the faith LAFD.

Anyone have a rundown of LAFD companies closed versus those "browned" out on a temporary basis?

Thanks in advance.

At this time the LAFD has been lucky that they have not had to close any stations, The brownouts are on a rotating basis and change day to day.

They must've moved E250, because the hoses in the foreground were hooked up to it, when I was there just after knockdown.

Here is a shot of E33 prior to its reassignment to 42s. It was a quick grab as they were clearing from a TC in front of Station 57. This was taken the day after the services for Fallen LAPD SWAT Officer Randall Simmons, a few years ago. The church they used for the service is located right across the street from 57's.

Is that an attack line coming off the drivers side of E21?
