To elaborate a little on Engine 69-3. We did buy it new. Back in 2001 when we got the Pierce Dash Pumper (Engine 69-1). A few of our members tried to get the black over red paint scheme on that truck. And it got shot down. When it came time to replace the 82 mack, it was a definite yes to black over red scheme on the new pumper, and it will be the way of the future for our company. Our new 2010 Pierce Impel rescue also has the black over red scheme.
