Terry,
Do you know what the GPM, GWT & Foam are for this unit? Also for the other Red Lion Engine you post I have the specs for this unit as a 1990 Pierce Lance 1250 GPM/1500 GWT/50B Foam X-Dover Engine 9-2

My girlfriend and I took a trip about a week ago to visit her sister in South Carolina and we took the long way and here are some pics I got along the way.
This Hopewell,Va. engine was at C.W. Williams in Rocky Mount,NC(not sure if it was there for work or a trade in).

Terry, my guess would be a trade in or simply a disposal. I think somewhere in the VA thread is a newer E-11.

This was the best catch of the trip as you don't see this kind of truck in the south very much(or at least I haven't) was this Pierce Arrow from Fair Bluff,NC and it was bought through Brindlee Mtn.

Further down the road I found this Spartan/Gimaex sitting outside the Aerial Options plant in Mullins SC.I have a shot of the aerial base as the ladder will tilt side to side.
After getting to Manning I shot these trucks sitting along I-95,first is this American LaFrance ladder which was marked for Albermarle City and I think is a 85' model.
I was told it was a 1949 but I have my doubts as I didn't think that cab came out until later and the Detroit engine brought a tear to my eye.
