Photo in front of old Grandview No.2. First custom yellow Engine purchased sadly.

Served as the Reserve Engine 1989-1993. Reserve in 1989 when a new Sutphen 75ft Quint for 1's was purchased as Ladder 1. Replaced in 1993 by a new Sutphen Engine for Pumper 3. The 1981 CF Mack at Engine 3 became the reserve..

KCFD served as Truck 3 from Fire House 10 for it's entire career. It was retired from Truck 3 in 1989 sold and transported over seas, never entering reserve. It was purchased as a DEMO and retained its red paint even though KCFD was using ugly lime-green.

It was one of two Snorkel's on the KCFD. Truck 2 at Fire House 17 operated the orginal dry 1964 FWD-Pierce Snorkel 75ft that was glider kitted in 1980 returned as a E\-One/Hendrickson 75ft Snorkel 1000.200.

Interesting! The first time I've seen a GMC "Crackerbox" in the fire service.

Took a quick phone pic of Metro West's new 3398 (station 2) and 3399 (station 5) Cub Cadets. One has the med bed and the other has the brush drop in unit. Still waiting on the new trailers and a few new items. Lighting and decals not done as well. Should be in service after the 1st of the year. Both units will have med beds and brush units and will be pulled by 3328 and 3358.
