Department is now known as Jefferson Hills Police Department as they provide contract police coverage to 2 other communities as of 2003. These units were not repainted to match the new name.

This is from the beginnings of my photo collection 12+ years ago back when I was shooting with a Cannon Sure Shot with no zoom of any kind <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wacko' /> I assume this unit is long since gone.
To all who posted....THANKS! Special thanks for the posting of the NYC DOC E.S.U. (former FDNY Rescue) and the Jersey City Mack ESU truck, very nice!

I will dig out some of my mine and post when I can get a few minutes time.
I do not beleive FDNY ever had a Mack DM rescue, they did have R models.. I can be wrong though..

Looks exactly like (except for the paint job) old NYPD ESU Truck 4.

Ok a while back DOC ran the chassis of FDNY Rescue 4's 1979 Mack R. The body was from a 1971 Rescue that was also Rescue 4's. This has been replaced and is now a former NYPD ESU. It served either ESU Truck 4 or 9 who had the Mack DM/Saulsbury units.

It was in a copy of Fire Apparatus Journal a while back

Clinton Twp (Hunterdon County, NJ) had this Ford for a while. It was then given to the local FD as a command unit for the Asst. Chief.

As POLICE unit 46-31

They now are using a Dodge (photo by Sgt Brad Stockelburg - CERT Leader/OEM)
