Dale City Engine 10. Although Prince William County doesn't recognize it as such this is actually a Pierce Rescue Engine. This unit is used in place of their Heavy Rescue when that rig is OOS. Probably one of the best spec'd Rescue Engines out there.
It was pointed out to me in the past that they spent a lot of time looking at Alexandria Rescue Engine 206 while specing this rig. You can see how they are similar yet different. I think Engine 10 is the slightly better looking rig proportion wise It is probably my favorite Pierce HDRP on a Dash chassis.
Dave, in my opinion Dale City Rescue Engine 10 and Fairfax City Rescue Engine 33 are 2 of the best spec'd Rescue Engines in the region. I never got a chance to see Rescue Engine 56 up close. I you can, could you please post a photo of it? I'd really appreciate it! Thanks, Nate
Goldvein Engine/Wagon 8
A surprisingly short wheelbase rig for such a rural department
The Plains Squad 4
At the time of this photo this rig was on loan to Catlett VFD and was for sale. Unknown current status. Ex-Nokesville Squad 5 |
