The command vehicle for the UBC Endowment Lands Fire dept. was a 1980 Grumman GMC Vandura.

The first out Engine at UBC was a 1988 Hub Mack MR 1250/500 and was kept by the Vancouver Fire Dept for several years after take over of the dept.

The Hazmat vehicle was a 1991 Grumman Olson Chev. Van.

The brush truck, Unit # 7 was a 1978 Ford F250 4x4 with a PP and a 50 Gal Light water tank.

Ladder truck duties at UBC were performed using this 1979 Pierreville Scot 250/200/100 ft. rearmount aerial.

The UBC Endowment Lands Fire Department operated a rescue configured to be a patient transport unit. Rescue 3 is a 1990 Cayal Craft Ford FXL with some Superior body work. This unit is still in service at UBC and is the only patient transportable truck operated by Vancouver Fire Rescue.

Another department very close to Vancouver but hard to shoot is the Sasamat Volunteer Fire Department. I managed to photograph several of their apparatus one sunny day while going for a drive into the mountains. Pumper 1 is a 1992 Hub Volvo FE 42 with 1050/800 specs.

Pumper 3 at Sasamat B.C. is a Hub built truck using a GMC T8500 chassis with 1050/800/15/15 specs.

Tanker 4 is one of two tankers on the Sasamat roster, and is a 1981 Columbia Remtec Ford F utilizing a portable pump and carrying 1500 gal. of water.

The newest piece of apparatus in Sasamat is C/R-5, a combined Command /Rescue truck on a Freightliner FL 80 chassis with ALF/Hub bodywork.

I have this in my Thibault roster as a 1973 IHC CO/Thibault 625/400. I have it being sold to Woss, BC.

can anyone please post a photo of Gloucester's old Kenworth L700 100 Foot Aerial ladder with its chrome wheels if possible and also gatineau's mack mc/MR pumper with its chrome wheels if possible and also St Remi's Ford Cargo Tandem tanker and any other ford cargo tandems and ford cargo rigs and as well as any industrial that are allowed to be posted

The Office of the Fire Commissioner in Manitoba operates the Emergency Services College in Brandon, Manitoba where training is provided for fire fighters and EMT/Paramedics. Many pieces of fire apparatus are used in this training. In the event of a major disaster or forest fire, units and instructors/students may be dispatched. The following photos will show the current pieces and several older units.
