Funny because the handouts that were with the rig said Forestville on them. OK.

This replaced the squad from 847 (Silisea / Allentown Road) that tipped on 495. Forestville is not too far from there. Engine / Tanker house.

I believe this was SL E 21. At least I can recognize it was shot right across from Engine 21's house on Roland Ave.

You are correct. It was originally assigned to Engine 5. After the overhead ladder rack was removed and the "Baltimore Basket" installed, it was the only 500/600 series pumper that the city added a Morse pipe to.

According to my info from Bill Snyder
E5 1931 ALF 500 Series 750gpm/200gwt became SLE38 (shop #031)
E11 (shop #032) went to SLE21.

I am interested in all of the equipment and apparatus used in fire fighting and ems service.
They both had booster reels when delivered. The two Seagraves also had open tiller cabs and electronic sirens. Somewhere along the way before repaint the tiller cabs were enclosed and Federal Q's installed . RT66 was repainted in the mid 90's and assigned to Truck 8
