I love the "NASCAR" type of #'s on the new rigs. It's better than looking at the 5th wheel on the older Truck Companies.

Speaking to a person who is works in City Hall and has knowledge of the city's budget situation the brown outs as much as opposed and hated have had a silver lining, Engine 86 in this photo is in a reserve, At one point when the brownouts were not in affect the entire department's reserve fleet was in service the department had to place in service rigs that had seen better days, With the brownouts in effect its eased the buden on the shops staff as they're not rushed to get rigs back in service.

Great pics guys ! I was on the SFFD engine that came down for the Memorial. Question - does anyone have a close up of the back of the cab of one of the new tillers ? They mounted a SCBA on there so the tillerman can donn it and head up the aerial. I didnt get a pic of it and I wanted to show some of the guys here in the City. Thanks !

I was walking across the street and I happened to see E97 and RA 97 come to the light behind me so I pulled out the camera and started snapping away. That was the best pic of E97 rolling.

The following engines are slated to get a KME. 2 3 11 14 15 27 29 35 37 56 58 60 64 66 72 73 75 94 95 96 98 & 102. All of these are Task Force houses except 56s & 102s. If 27s & 98s are any indication, the rigs replaced will move to the other engine in the same house. Ie: 27s became 227s. 56 and 102 will be given to other houses. At this time, I believe only Engines 27 & 98 have hit the street. More info when it comes available.

I'm not so sure about Engine 60 I've heard there Pierce Aarow XT is being repaired, With the city's finances the way it is I'm not so sure they could afford to write off a rig not to badly damaged.
